| Thought I'd share the pictures I used to persuade the Photog teacher to let me in to her class, apparently she was quite impressed. This one is out of focus just the slightest bit due to the McShit™ digital camera I was using with 7 minutes of battery left on it. This was taken last year when we toured the south Isle in a campervan. One thing I remember most about this place is the amount of sandfly bites I mysteriously attained whilst outside the safety of the vehicle. This Picture more than makes up for it, I feel. Back to my Backyard. I like this one because of the blemishes on the leaves of the plant. Could look quite depressingly awesome in black and white with higher contrast. Hmmm BRB OK, The result: Windows is flipping the biggest bitch I have ever seen. UGH. Oh well, Maybe some other time. Or if anyone wants to have a crack at it, be my guest | |

Clouds? Birds? Superheroes? No, the big signs that tell you which lanes are open on the bridge and stuff like that.

| o you poor thing getting a new PC and all, I have to make do with the virus ridden old laptop with no disc space that everyone else uses despite my parents as good as telling me I could have it. Not that owning it means much if I can't put anything on it.
And what kind of stupid computer has openoffice instead of Microsoftword anyway?

| I did! It said that there was a virus that was recording my key strokes and saving my passwords and such but that it couldn't delete it so the best option was to rename it, that is how malicious this virus was, but it's gone now. It also keep pretending to be Norton telling me to download another antivirus but my Dad googled it and found that I was right in thinking that the antivirus was infact another virus. | |

| Um, so back to the art... that one you took on the coast is seriously awesome. Perfect proportion. Nice tonal range and textural contrast.
Yes black and white is cool. So is seppia. That is how you turn an OK photo into 'art'. So, I wanna see if you can take an even more interesting photo of the plant without resorting to digital fun... i just slapped you with my glove- en garde?

| I have to agree, the plant ones were not even in the same hemosphere as the coastal picture. | |

| How did Hannah put it? The difference between a photo of something interesting and an interesting photo.
I think art is like philosophy (particularly photography because it's not what you make it, but what you make of it if you get me) art is about seeing things that people have seen before, but seeing them in a different way and endeavoring to show other people that point of view.
