In this world of pink and purple
Where green matters more than colour
Despite what you’ve heard before
I am sitting thinking
Black and red
For death and war
The battles not yet fought
The soldiers still can’t walk
They cry out in the night
On hearing call to arms
Who then will have
The strength to say
That White and Black
And Black and Red
Mix to pinkish grey
Still wind up dead?
When the time comes
Will they listen?
Who am I to stand
Against future history?
