| Darkness drifts 'fore my eyes
tempting
seeping,
slowly through barricaded pores
doth pour and enter this weary head
Lids of steel droop
shutting all out
closing darkness in
Midnight wanderings flock in tides,
glittering shades adorn their hides;
they fly 'til shining morn
The sky splits.
The light creeps,
sweeps the shards of dreams away.
